Mr Waleed Al Singary

I am a 67 year old male and I was increasingly having problems in going to the toilet (poor flow) from some time back - around 2012 or before. I had taken Tamsulosin with no effect. I saw Mr Al-Singary towards the end of the first quarter of 2016. He examined me and explained that I had a large obstructive prostate. He advised that I had a TURP and fully explained the procedure. I was going on a 3 week holiday at the beginning of May so he said that I would be contacted in towards the end of May to give me an admission date. This happened exactly as he had said and I was admitted on the 4th June to Goring Hall when the procedure was done and biopsies taken. It is now October 2016 and my flow has vastly improved, in fact, I can safely say that it is the same as when I was in my 30's. Very happy - not only with the procedure but with the way that I was treated throughout by Mr Al-Singary and his team at Goring Hall. A really pleasant, witty and interesting person I would recommend him to anyone with the sort of problem I was having.

Mr Al-Singary was very understanding and helpful of my conditions from the first time I met him. He dealt quickly with organising appointments and operations for me and I underwent bulkamid injections in my bladder opening which has cured my incontinence (it was not resolved fully by a previous tvt operation elsewhere) and I also had a repair to my prolapsed bladder carried out which has also been a complete success. Both conditions where affecting my quality of life and now I am happy to partake in any activities I choose with my children or exercising. Both procedures were carried out at Goring Hall hospital and I would highly recommmend Mr Al-Singary, his team and the hospital.

I can not thank this Consultant enough for the quality of life he has given back to me. I had bladder problems for 3 years and felt like I was wasting the GP 's time by constantly going back for medication changes and UTI checks. I felt like I was alone to suffer bladder problems for the rest of my life and reached breaking point when I had painful toilet trips throughout the night and day. Finally I begged for a referral and I wished I had done this sooner. My appointment with this Consultant lasted half an hour but he made me feel at ease, he listened to everything I said and I felt automatically that I was in very good hands. He knew exactly what the problem was (infection). I felt like a huge weight had been lifted. I had a flexible cystoscopy at the BMI Goring Hall hospital and I was in very good care with this Consultant. He found ulcers in my bladder. He arranged for an appointment for me to come back and have another cystoscopy and diathermy to cauterise the ulcers but under general anaesthetic. When the day arrived for my cystoscopy/diathermy under GA, I was very anxious as I had never been under GA before. He explained everything that was going to happen and made me feel calm. This Consultant made me feel well looked after from the very first day I met him. Like I have said in start of this review, I can not thank this consultant enough for the quality of life he has given back to me.

I agree with the other patients comments. Mr Al-Singary is an exceptionally nice man,one I totally trust ,he has a very caring and charming nature ,explains everything fully . I am currently receiving treatment and awaiting another procedure.
